What is the F90 In Door?
The F90 is a gas blowback bullpup, officially licensed from Lithgow Arms. Compared with the bullpup design it builds on, it has a shorter length of pull, an extended top Picatinny rail, extra Picatinny space at the 3 to 6 o’clock positions and a folding, non-reciprocating charging handle.
It also has a modular stock/receiver-to-barrel interface with one-pin takedown, an expansion slot in the trigger housing, a waffle-pattern magazine, an ambidextrous magazine release, a mock adjustable gas block and an ambidextrous, adjustable ejection port. Inside, it shares components with KWA’s GBB line, with an improved hop-up and bolt carrier.
The F90 In Door adds KWA’s Low Power Bolt (LPB), which lowers BB velocity to 330–350 FPS to meet indoor field rules. It suits indoor fields and works well outdoors too.

How the F90 In Door works
Gas blowback rifles reward a little know-how. Here is what to expect.
Gas blowback, explained
Green gas is stored in the magazine. Each trigger pull releases gas that fires the BB and drives the bolt back, which gives you bolt movement and recoil you can feel.
Because the gas lives in the magazine, healthy magazines mean a healthy rifle. Keep their seals oiled and fill them correctly.
The two-stage ALO trigger
The F90 has no separate selector switch. The trigger does the job: half a pull fires one round in semi-auto, and a full squeeze fires full auto.
The ALO (automatic lockout) is a pull tab at the bottom of the trigger. Engage it and the trigger cannot travel far enough for full auto.
Standard or In Door?
Both versions are the same rifle. The standard F90 shoots 380–400 FPS. The F90 In Door comes with KWA’s Low Power Bolt (LPB) for 330–350 FPS, to meet indoor field limits. Fields set velocity limits, often lower indoors than outdoors, so check yours and confirm at chrono.
Filling a gas magazine
Each shot uses some of the gas in the magazine to fire the BB and cycle the bolt.
- Hold the magazine upside down and the green gas can upside down and vertical.
- Press the can straight down onto the magazine fill valve until it stops taking gas.
- Load BBs, insert the magazine and you are ready.
- Gas cools as you shoot. Let magazines warm up between strings and keep them out of direct sunlight.
Hop-up, explained
Hop-up puts backspin on the BB so it lifts and flies flatter and farther. Too little and BBs drop early. Too much and they climb.
- Start with the hop-up at its lowest setting.
- Fire a few shots at a target at your usual distance.
- Add a little hop at a time until BBs fly flat before they drop.
- Back it off if BBs start to rise. Re-check whenever you change BB weight.

F90 In Door care and parts
- Put a drop of silicone oil on the magazine seals now and then to keep them sealing well.
- Store gas magazines in a cool, dry place and never in direct sunlight or a hot car.
- Check feed lips and seals before each game, and do not drop magazines on hard surfaces.
- Wipe the gun down after each game and keep the inner barrel and hop-up bucking clean.
