What is the Q10?
The Q10 is the recoil version of KWA’s updated flagship AEG, built on the RM4 Ronin line with a familiar quad Picatinny rail. KWA’s cut-off gearbox stops the rifle on an empty magazine to build reload habits.
Both the Q10 and M10 were redeveloped with feedback from casual outdoor players and MILSIM/MILSPEED enthusiasts, with an emphasis on training use. The fixed front sight post is gone, which leaves room for a red dot or a low-power variable optic (LPVO).

How the cut-off works
When the magazine runs empty, the cut-off gearbox stops the rifle from firing. Insert a fresh magazine, disengage the mock bolt catch and keep going.
It builds reload muscle memory for training and games.
The Kinetic Feedback System
The Q10’s electronic recoil replicates the movement of a reciprocating bolt, so you feel a recoil effect with every shot while keeping the reliability of an AEG.
It is a good fit for training drills where recoil management matters.
Which magazines to use
Standard M4 AEG magazines work in this rifle. To use the cut-off, run KWA’s designated cut-off magazines: the K120C or MS120C.
The included MS120C adjusts between a 30-round setup for training and a full 120-round load for games.
Hop-up, explained
Hop-up puts backspin on the BB so it lifts and flies flatter and farther. Too little and BBs drop early. Too much and they climb.
- Start with the hop-up at its lowest setting.
- Fire a few shots at a target at your usual distance.
- Add a little hop at a time until BBs fly flat before they drop.
- Back it off if BBs start to rise. Re-check whenever you change BB weight.
Q10 care and parts
- Disconnect the battery whenever you are not using the rifle.
- Charge with a charger made for your battery type (NiMH or Li-Po/Li-Fe).
- Keep the inner barrel and hop-up bucking clean if accuracy drops.
- Wipe the rifle down after each game and check screws and the rail before you play.
